Mario A. Ballesteros
Over the course of a four-decade career Mario A. Ballesteros, CPA served as consulting Chief Financial Officer for rapidly growing middle market companies providing senior financial management and special projects services within the energy, services, construction and manufacturing sectors. His specialties have included interim financial executive management, project management and system implementation from midrange to full-scale ERP platforms.
In addition, for 10 years Mario mentored senior level executives on career issues and networking skills as Chairman of the Houston chapter of the Financial Executives Networking Group, the largest national organization for senior professional executives.
A first-generation Tex-Mex kid from Conroe, Texas, Mario is a Vietnam-era and United States Air Force Strategic Air Command veteran. He utilized his GI bill and worked nights to earn a Bachelors degree in Accounting & Finance from Sam Houston State University in three years. He and his wife, Linda, have three grown children and are affectionately known as Linny and Pop Pop to their grandchildren.
After almost 40 years as a CPA and Chief Financial Officer, Mario has decided to take the Big Leap and go into “semi-retirement.” He has authored a chapter in the book “Share Your Message With The World” about being “retired but not dead.” Mario is now using his business and life experiences to share his message of the “RBND” lifestyle where dreams have just begun, learning never stops and a life of adding value continues long after our careers cease.
