Roxana Heredia has a passion for bridging the language divide. She came to this country at the tender age of 18 from Lima, Peru with her family. After experiencing difficulty adjusting to the language barrier that immigrants often experience when they arrive in a new country, she made it her mission to eradicate that problem. A native Spanish speaker, Roxana earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree, in Spanish from The University of Houston, and she has obtained her Masters Degree in Public Relations from George Washington University.
After working for many years as a Spanish bilingual teacher in the public school system in Houston and Katy, Roxana used her teaching and language skills to form LISTO Translating services & More LLC.
In her role at LISTO, Roxana manages a large network of translators, interpreters, editors, proofreaders, as well as the overall translation workflow methodology and interpretation assignment planning. She ensures that the right people, processes, and resources are applied to each project. Her goal is to help people to break down any language barriers they may come across in order to enhance their personal and professional lives.
Interests: Reading, traveling, and, most of all, spending time with her family.
